At very odd and rare times, over the past fifty-five years, I have felt complelled to write of certain things.
Each poem is, in many ways, a 'pen picture' from that odd moment of a life.
The poems are laid out in reverse chronological order, stretching from the late 2019, back to 1964 - when I was a teenager growing up on a farm in West Waterford.
Over that time, one assumes that the world has changed, that I have changed. The poems should inform on some of these things. The reader, in turn, will ponder on their own personal and related 'things'.
The poems are an eclectic collection indeed - mostly written 'on the spur of the moment' - but I am not going to disown any of them at this stage.
