One could pass along the narrow road between Cloneyharp and Garranmore townlands without realising that there had been a natonal school there for generations. The former school building, itself a 1949 replacement of a much earlier building, has been tastefully transformed into a dwelling .
This well- researched publication by Con Ryan and Tom Carrollwill ensure that the former Cloneyharp natonal school will be permanetly and well recorded.It deserves such, having played a pivotal role in the life of the local community for almost 150 years.
